I'm a lifelong, high-volume reader with a particular love for romance, thrillers, horror, and fiction that makes just one more chapter turn into a very bad decision the next morning. I know the difference between a book I simply finished and one a I became obsessed with.
As your beta reader, I approach your manuscript as a real reader would but I pay attention to why Im reacting. Where was I hooked? Where did my attention wander? Did the characters feel believable? Was I confused in a good way or a frustrating way? When did I predict the twist? Did the pacing pull me forward? And, most importantly, did the payoff earn the journey?
Youll receive an honest, constructive reader report focused on pacing, plot, characterization, clarity, engagement, predictions, and overall reader experience.
I'm not here to rewrite your book into the one I would have written. Im here to tell you what happened when a serious reader encountered the book you wrote.

No. This service is beta reading, not proofreading or editing. I focus on the reader experience: pacing, plot, characters, clarity, engagement, predictions, and what works—or doesn’t—from a reader’s perspective.

You’ll receive a detailed reader report covering my reactions to your plot, pacing, characters, clarity, engagement, predictions, and overall reader experience. I’ll point out what pulled me in, where my attention wandered, what confused me, and what landed especially well.
