I will convert your video to a vhs cassette

This gig covers ONLY converting of digital videos to video tape and capturing them from the tape back into a digital video. The end product you receive is a digital video file. I do NOT send physical VHS tapes to clients!

This gig DOES NOT offer the following: sending physical media to customer, capturing pre-existing media from customer's VHS tapes, adding VFX to videos through the means of software or plug-ins, and/or helping to set up those, nor helping to set up a VHS conversion/capture workstation

Recording speed affects the overall quality of video and non-Hi-Fi audio. Long Play (LP) is 2x, and Extended Play (EP) is 3x slower than Short Play (SP). Also, damage to tape is bigger and stays longer on screen in LP and EP.

Hi-Fi sound in VCRs is a higher quality sound recorded along with the video. It reaches more frequencies than the standard audio recording, however, comes with a downside of buzzing sound when the tape is damaged, and sometimes turns off briefly.

Generation loss happens when you copy a tape onto another tape. You can make this yourself if you have 2 VCRs plugged into each other. Each copy loses some quality. At generation 12 and beyond the picture loses all color and is unstable.
