I'm new to music, how important is mixing?
OOHH I love this question. Mixing is the heart of every track, every time you've heard a song and gone "woowww that hits my ears a certain way" THATS MIXING! Every time you heard a song and had to turn it down because certain sounds we're piercing your poor little ears... THAT'S BAD MIXING.

What are industry standard plug ins?
These are staples in mixing you will most likely experience in every studio you go to. I'll name a few. Melodyne (manual pitch correction) Autotune - Pro (auto pitch correction) Soothe 2/3, Fab Filter, Sound Toys, Waves etc. I HAVE all of these and you will get to experience them!!
Do I need a reference track?
No not at all, for all of my own songs I have never used a reference track. Feel free to send one in if you do want, as it only helps me see your EXACT vision and goal
