What's the pricing with manual editing / editorial job?
The price of the order will rise significantly. The manual editing cost for: *2 hours - 160$ *1 hour - 90$ *20 minutes - 25$ The Full Podcast Service cost examples: *2 hours - 240$ *1 hour - 130$. *20 minutes - 45$. After editing the podcast gets shorter by average 4-10 minutes per raw 1 hour.
What is The Full Podcast Service?
The Full Podcast Service consists of the bread and butter for the podcast: - denoising & quality refinement - manual editing / editorial job - mastering
Do you use AI for the manual editing/editorial job?
No. I listen and edit manually carefully, from start to finish, second by second. Also, have in mind that once in a while some fragments can't be edited to sound naturally - I leave them as they are if that happen.
Can at home recording sound "professional"?
Depends, lots of factors here. The thing with "guerrilla" conditions recordings is that the final audio can't be perfect but most of the time the outcome audio quality is very good.
How do you work with your clients and audio for podcasts?
I expect the unprocessed WAV, AIFF or ALAC audio file (no effects). I deliver an audio file matching the LUFS policy (depends on the order); -14 for YouTube & Spotify, -16 Apple, -23 for TV Broadcast or -27 for Netflix/DVD/Prime. I do -16 LUFS and WAV format by default.
Do you do manual editing / editorial job for video podcasts?
No. That kind of podcast is visually focused and the editing should be done by a video editor first then I receive the audio to work on and finally the audio comes back to a video editor. That's how I see it for the most part. I'm open for other suggestions though.
What is the best way to deliver my files to you?
I recommend Dropbox or via Fiverr.
What are your working hours?
10AM CEST - 5PM CEST Monday to Friday. 10AM CEST - 1PM CEST Saturday. Sometimes I work overtime but then I’m slower.
