What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets Claude and other AI tools use your systems through tools like 'search customers' or 'create invoice'. The MCP server is the secure bridge between the AI and your API or database.
Which AI apps will it work with?
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and any other MCP-compatible client, including your own custom AI agent.
What do you need from me to start?
API documentation or database details (a test/sandbox account is best), a list of actions you want Claude to perform, and where the server should run (your computer or a cloud server).
Is my data safe?
Your credentials stay in environment variables on your side, never in the code. I add input validation and expose only the actions you approve. I can build and test everything on a sandbox account first.
Do I get the source code?
