About this gig
Want a chatbot that answers from your PDFs, manuals, policies or reports, and shows exactly where each answer came from?
I build RAG chatbots where every sentence links to its source passage, highlighted on the page. Each quote is checked against your document's own words, so made-up citations are caught, not shown. If the answer isn't in your documents, the bot says so instead of guessing.
What you get:
- Digital and scanned PDFs (OCR), Word and PowerPoint
- Hybrid search (keywords + meaning) for accurate retrieval
- English and Chinese supported
- OpenAI, Gemini or Claude, your choice
- A web chat page, or an API for your own app
- An accuracy report on questions about your real documents
My own demo scores 23/23 on its test set for both a digital PDF and a scanned copy (screenshots in the gallery), and I build document AI for a production education platform.
Please message me before ordering with a sample document and a few questions people will ask. I'll tell you honestly what accuracy to expect.

I build AI systems that read messy documents: scanned PDFs, phone photos, tables, handwriting and mixed English/Chinese text. They turn them into clean data (Excel, JSON, database) or into chatbots that cite the exact page each answer came from. Recent work: exam digitization and AI grading for an education platform, AI essay marking, and a healthcare HL7 integration. I test every build on your real files and report the accuracy, so you know what you get. Python, React, Node.js, OpenAI, Gemini, LangChain.

FAQ
Which AI model do you use?
OpenAI, Gemini or Claude, whichever fits your budget and data rules. You own the API key, so you pay the provider directly and stay in control.
Can it read scanned PDFs?
Yes, with OCR. I test it on your scans first and tell you the accuracy before you commit to a bigger package.
Will it make things up?
It answers only from your documents, links every claim to a source passage and flags quotes it can't verify. If the answer isn't there, it says so.
Where does it run?
On a server or cloud account you own. I can deploy it for you and hand over the code and setup notes.
