Can you add business fields like contracts or customer numbers to Traccar?
Yes. For GBL Rental Express we added licence plate, chassis number, customer number and contract expiry to each device, changed the backend expiry mechanism, and built an "Expired" view and map filter in the web portal.
Can you build the admin / back office around Traccar, not just customize its web app?
Yes. For GeoLox we built a Laravel admin that syncs users and devices with Traccar and adds what Traccar doesn't have: client limits, per-device subscriptions and add-ons, Stripe billing, driving scores across every client, incident extraction and an audit log.
Can you build a complete admin panel on top of Traccar for a tracker subscription business?
Yes. For UTrack we built a Laravel web admin on a Traccar backend with a device inventory by IMEI and ICCID, bulk activation, expiry, cancellation and renewal tools, alert features per device model, admin and agent permissions, reports with CSV export and a PayPal subscriptions view.
