I will build a python mcp server for claude and ai agents

About this gig
Want Claude, Cursor or your own AI agent to use your data and tools? I'll build a custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that securely connects your API, database or internal tools to AI.
What you get:
- A Python MCP server with tools, resources and prompts designed around your use case
- Connections to your REST APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) or SaaS apps
- Local setup for Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor, or a remote HTTP server deployed with Docker
- Authentication and safe handling of API keys
- Integration with n8n or other agent frameworks if you need it
- Tests, a README and setup steps for every client you use
Why me?
I build MCP servers for real workloads, for example servers that let AI agents run trading backtests and pull market data through n8n. As a DevOps engineer, I also deploy them properly with Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes when needed.
Tell me what you want your AI to be able to do, and I'll suggest the simplest server that does it.

FAQ
What is an MCP server, and why would I need one?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude use external tools and data. An MCP server gives your AI safe, structured access to your API, database or files, so it can look things up and take actions.
Which AI apps will it work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n's MCP nodes and agent frameworks that support MCP. I'll test it with the clients you use.
Local or remote server?
Local is simplest for personal use on one computer. A remote (HTTP) server lets a team or a hosted agent use it, and I deploy it with Docker on your server or cloud.
Is it secure?
API keys stay in environment variables, never in code. Tools only expose the actions you approve, and remote servers get authentication. We can start with read-only tools if you prefer.
What do you need from me?
A description of what the AI should do, API docs or database details, and test credentials. I'll propose a tool list for your approval before I start coding.
