I will fix wcag and ada accessibility issues in your shopify theme

About this gig
Shopify themes, even premium ones, often ship with accessibility gaps in product pages, cart drawers and menus. I find them and fix them in your theme code, not with an overlay app.
I work in Liquid, CSS and JavaScript on Online Store 2.0 themes such as Dawn and Horizon.
What I check and fix against WCAG 2.2 AA:
- buttons and icons without accessible names
- variant pickers, swatches and quantity buttons
- cart drawer, mega menu and modals with the keyboard
- color contrast that stays on brand
- headings, alt text and ARIA
- tap targets on mobile
How it works: I test your key templates with axe-core and Lighthouse, then manually with the keyboard. You get a prioritized issue list, commented code changes and a before/after report.
Example from my own work: on a Horizon-based demo store, Lighthouse accessibility on the product page went from 83 to 92 after fixes like these.
Honest note: nobody can guarantee legal compliance. I fix real WCAG issues and document what was done.
Not included: third-party app code, legal advice.

FAQ
Will my store be 100% ADA / EAA compliant after your work?
No one can honestly promise that. I fix the WCAG 2.2 AA issues I find on the agreed templates and give you a report of what was checked and changed. For legal questions, please talk to a lawyer.
Do you install an accessibility app or overlay?
No. Overlays don't fix the theme code, and stores that used them have still been sued. I change the Liquid, CSS and JavaScript of your theme.
Will I still be able to update my theme?
Theme updates don't merge custom code automatically. I mark every change with a comment and list the files in the report, so they're easy to carry over to a new version.
What access do you need?
A collaborator request to your store. I work on a duplicate of your live theme and publish only after your approval. Never send me your password.
What about apps that add widgets to my store?
I fix what lives in your theme. If an app causes an issue I can't edit, I list it in the report with a note you can send to the app's developer.
I received a demand letter. Can you help?
I can prioritize the issues it mentions and fix them quickly. I don't give legal advice.
