I will fix wcag and ada accessibility issues on your wordpress site

About this gig
Accessibility issues cost you customers and, in the US and EU, can lead to legal complaints. I find them and fix them in your code, not with an overlay widget.
I work with Shopify (Liquid), WordPress / WooCommerce themes and React / Next.js.
What I check and fix against WCAG 2.2 AA:
- keyboard navigation and visible focus
- menus, cart drawers, modals, tabs and accordions
- forms: labels, errors, required fields
- color contrast that stays on brand
- headings, landmarks, alt text and ARIA
- tap target size on mobile
How it works: I test your pages with axe-core and Lighthouse, then manually with the keyboard. You get a prioritized issue list, clean code fixes and a before/after report.
Example from my own work: on a WordPress theme, axe-core flagged 18 color-contrast failures and a heading-order error. After my fixes, 5 tested pages show 0 serious or critical violations.
Honest note: nobody can guarantee legal compliance or protection from lawsuits. I fix real WCAG issues and document what was done.
Not included: PDF remediation, native mobile apps, legal advice.

FAQ
Will my site be 100% ADA / EAA compliant after your work?
No one can honestly promise that. I fix the WCAG 2.2 AA issues I find on the agreed pages and give you a report of what was checked and changed. For legal questions, please talk to a lawyer.
Do you use accessibility overlay widgets?
No. Overlays don't fix the underlying code, and several stores that used them were still sued. I change the theme code itself.
Will you change my design?
Only where accessibility requires it, such as contrast or focus styles, and I keep your brand colors. I show any visible change before applying it.
What access do you need?
Shopify: a collaborator request. WordPress: an admin user, ideally on a staging copy. Never send me your own password.
What about third-party apps and plugins?
I fix what lives in your theme. If an app or plugin causes an issue I can't edit, I list it in the report with a suggested workaround or a request you can send to its developer.
I received a demand letter. Can you help?
I can prioritize the issues it mentions and fix them quickly. I don't give legal advice.
