I offer crystal-clear HQ stereo Hammered Dulcimer recordings. I have a 20-year musician, producer and audio engineer experience in many genres (Folk, Rock & Metal, Electronic Music, Hip-Hop, Classical, video games OST).
I will record dulcimer parts on your song, either following the melody you want, either composing my own based on your instructions. I'm equally efficient at playing by ear and reading music.
Each package gives you access to a minimal recording duration, above which you can add extra recording time to accurately meet your needs.
Price per time decreases over the 3 packages.
- Basic package from 30 seconds of recording
- Standard package from 60 seconds of recording
- Premium package from 120 seconds of dulcimer recording
My Hammered Dulcimer is a British Roger Frood model with a unique sound signature. The range goes from G2 to E6. It is chromatic from E3 to E6.

I'm a sound engineer, producer, keyboardist and advanced hammered dulcimer player.
I produced a dozen of artist albums in several genres, my expertise areas are mainly rock-metal, electronic music, folk/neo-folk and hip-hop.
FAQ
What do I need to provide?
You should provide the song or piece of music (in .wav or mp3) on which you need to record dulcimer. Then, you should provide either the dulcimer part you would like me to record (audio, score or MIDI format), or just some basic instructions if you prefer to let me create a part on my own.
I'm not quite sure what can or cannot be played on a hammered dulcimer, is this an issue?
No that's totally fine, I'm here to support. You can either let me propose something based on your instructions (i.e a track you like) or propose your own parts. If you propose something technically impossible, we will sort out which adjustments could be made to make it dulcimer-friendly.
My song needs dulcimer at several time stamps only, should I still pay for the whole duration of the song?
Absolutely not, I only charge real recording time. If you need 30s of recording out of a 2min song, only 30s is charged. Then I deliver a 2min long audio file with 30s of dulcimer at the correct time stamps and silence in between. This also means a duplicated (copy-paste) part is only charged once.
How do I make sure I will enjoy what you will record?
Prior to recording the dulcimer with my full set of mics, I always send a proposal with a virtual dulcimer, which doesn't sound as realistic but allows you to hear much quicker the part/tone I intend to play, and have full flexibility to change until we are both satisfied, then I actually record.
