I will automate your import export cost calculations and trade data in python
About this gig
Still calculating landed cost in a spreadsheet that breaks every time freight or FX moves? I automate it.
13+ years running real import/export operations - customs, Incoterms, freight, cost analysis. In one role, I cut daily cost-model maintenance from 2 hours to 5 minutes.
WHAT I AUTOMATE
- Landed cost, CIF calculators: FOB, freight, duty, insurance, FX
- LCL and FCL scenarios in one model, with live exchange rate data
- Quotation tables per product, ready to send
- Cost-variance tracking: see WHY your cost moved
- Customs, tariff and HS code reference tools
- Supplier data collection, cleaning and reporting
WHAT YOU GET
- A working Python tool or Excel, CSV integrated automation
- Clean, commented source code; you own it
- Written setup instructions a non programmer can follow
- Optional Claude AI analysis layer (Premium)
WHY ME
Most developers can write the script but don't know Incoterms, duty relief or why demurrage matters. I do both: fewer wrong assumptions and a tool that matches how trade really works.
All work and support in writing on Fiverr. No calls needed.
Message me with your current process before ordering; I'll confirm scope, price and timeline first.

FAQ
1. I'm not technical. Can I still use what you build?
Yes. Everything comes with plain-English instructions, and I can build it to run from Excel or a simple interface. If you'd like a safety net, add the 30-day written support extra and just message me whenever something isn't clear.
2. Do you know Incoterms and customs rules, or just the coding?
Both. 13+ years of hands-on import/export operations — Incoterms, HS classification, duty-relief regimes, freight and customs documentation.
3. Is my commercial data safe?
Yes. Send anonymized samples if you prefer — I only need the structure, not your real prices. Nothing is shared or reused.
4. Can you fix or upgrade my existing spreadsheet instead of rebuilding?
Often yes, and it's usually cheaper. Send it over and I'll tell you honestly which is better.
5. Is the HS code report binding?
No, and be careful with anyone who says otherwise. I give you the likely classification, the duty and VAT rates, FTA eligibility and the risks to watch for — based on 13+ years of hands-on customs work. Binding classification comes from your customs broker or a binding tariff ruling from the customs
