Hosting your own Nextcloud is an amazing alternative to the two, but getting it up and running securely requires some experience with Linux and Docker. And that's where my expertise comes into play.
I'm a DevOps engineer, and I don't use generic scripts; instead, I customize and set up fast and secure Nextcloud environment with Docker-compose and Nginx.
Based on your needs, I will help you with:
- Fixing a corrupted installation or proxy-related problems,
- Setting up new, clean and fresh Nextcloud instance,
- Configuring and setting up Nginx Proxy Manager with auto-SSL,
- Caching with Redis for even better performance,
- Integrating ONLYOFFICE or Collabora for document editing in the browser.
Quick note: I set everything up, configure and troubleshoot issues; regular server management or updating of operating systems is not included.

What is the difference between a standard setup and the "High-Performance" Premium package?
Standard setups can slow down under heavy loads. The Premium package adds Redis memory caching for lightning-fast database queries, plus Collabora or ONLYOFFICE for real-time, browser-based document editing (similar to Google Docs).
Do you provide ongoing maintenance after the order is completed?
This gig covers initial deployment and troubleshooting. Ongoing OS updates, maintenance, and 24/7 monitoring are not included in the base price. However, if you need ongoing support, I am happy to create a Custom Offer for a monthly retainer.
Is my data completely secure with this setup?
Absolutely. Security is my top priority. Every deployment includes an Nginx Reverse Proxy configured with automatic Let's Encrypt SSL certificates. This guarantees all traffic between your devices and your server is strictly encrypted.
Can I migrate my current files from Google Drive or Dropbox to Nextcloud?
Nextcloud has tools to pull data from external providers. While massive data transfers are not included in the base gig due to varying sync times, I will guide you on starting the sync or we can arrange a Custom Offer to handle it for you.
