I gave very little direction and just let Victor play what he wanted and after mixing the track, his violin parts settled in the mix and filled the empty space I was hearing. Will use again when I need violin parts.

I highly recommend hiring victor. I was under immense pressure and had multiple violinists either flake on me or provide terrible quality results.
