Position: GIS Specialist I am a GIS specialist with experience in geospatial data analysis, mapping, and spatial data management. My work focuses on transforming geographic data into clear, accurate, and visually effective maps that support planning, research, and decision-making. I work with professional GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro to create high-quality maps and perform spatial analysis. My experience includes working with spatial datasets, organizing geospatial information, and producing detailed maps that communicate geographic patterns and relationships clearly. My responsibilities include creating thematic maps, location maps, and data visualization maps for different types of projects. I also work on digitizing geographic features from satellite imagery and existing maps, georeferencing scanned maps and images, and editing spatial datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency. In addition, I have experience working with shapefiles and other geospatial data formats, managing coordinate systems and projections, and preparing spatial datasets for analysis and visualization. I focus on maintaining organized GIS layers and ensuring that spatial data is structured properly for mapping and analysis. I also design professional map layouts that are suitable for reports, presentations, and digital platforms. My goal is to present spatial information in a way that is both technically accurate and visually clear for clients and project stakeholders.
