About this Gig
FIDE Master chess coaching for adults, in English or Spanish
Stuck at the same rating? Losing games you should win? I'll help you understand why and build a clear plan to improve.
How it works:
1. We review some of your recent games to find your strengths and weaknesses.
2. I build a training plan around your goals: beating your friends, climbing your online rating or preparing for tournaments.
3. Every lesson comes with exercises and materials so you keep improving between sessions.
What we can work on:
- An opening repertoire you understand
- Tactics and calculation
- Middlegame plans and strategy
- Endgame technique
- Reviewing your own games
- Tournament preparation and practical decisions
Lessons take place online via Zoom or Google Meet.

FAQ
I'm an adult beginner. Is that okay?
Absolutely. It's never too late to learn, and we'll start from the level you're at.
Do I need a rating?
No. If you play online, your username helps me see your games, but it's not required.
Can you help me prepare for a tournament?
Yes. We can work on your openings, review your recent games and prepare a practical plan for the event.
