Will my site get a 90+ score on mobile?
Maybe. It depends on what's on the page. A site with video and heavy animation has a different ceiling than a text-based landing page. I'll tell you what's realistic for your site after I look at it, not before.
Will you remove my animations to make it faster?
Not without asking. Some animations cost more than they're worth, some are fine. I'll show you the trade-off and you decide.
What's the difference between the PageSpeed score and real speed?
The score is a lab test on a simulated slow device. Real speed is what your visitors experience, measured by Core Web Vitals. I work on both, but the second one is what affects your business.
My site is built on a template. Can it still be optimized?
Yes. Templates often carry unused code and oversized assets, so there is usually a lot to gain.
Do you need Designer access?
Yes, for anything beyond the audit. The audit itself only needs a public link.
Will this break anything on my site?
I test every page across breakpoints after the changes. If something needs to be rebuilt rather than adjusted, I'll tell you before touching it.
Do you optimize CMS collection pages?
Yes. A collection template counts as one page, since fixing the template fixes every item in the collection.
How do I know it worked?
You get before and after numbers from the same tools, run on the same pages. You can verify them yourself.
