About me
I come to this wonderful world of voice over from the education field. After teaching high school English for many years, I decided to follow my passion and transition to a career in audiobook narration and voice over, and I'm enjoying every minute! I record in my sound-treated booth at home in Los Angeles. When I'm not in my booth, I enjoy reading, hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with my husband, two teenaged kids, and our temperamental cat, Hazel. Aug 1996 - Jun 2009 • 12 yrs 10 mos

I worked as a middle and high school English teacher from 1996-2009. I planned engaging lessons, lead discussions on fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and dramatic works. Another aspect of my job was communicating effectively with students, staff, and parents. I truly enjoyed delving into the deeper questions that come up when reading literature and I loved seeing students engage with texts and find a common bond with the themes of those works. Organizational skills served me well in this environment, and I find that they help me tremendously in the world of voice over, as well.
