About me
Hi, I'm Walex, a children's book illustrator and kids' book editor.
I specialize in children's book illustration, picture book illustration, storybook art, character design, and book cover design using watercolor, cartoon, hand-drawn, and digital styles. All artwork is print-ready for Amazon KDP and self-publishing.
I also offer manuscript editing and proofreading for children's and kids' storybooks, so your story reads well before it's illustrated.
Not sure where to start? Send me a few details about your story and I'll tell you exactly what it needs illustration, editing, or both.

I am a professional book illustrator specializing in creating engaging, original illustrations for children’s books, picture books, storybooks, and other publishing projects. I transform written stories and ideas into expressive visual artwork that connects with readers and brings characters, scenes, and emotions to life. My services include children’s book illustration, character design, storybook illustrations, cover artwork, interior illustrations, and visual storytelling. I work closely with authors and publishers to develop artwork that matches the book’s tone, target audience, and creative vision. I focus on clear communication, attention to detail, consistent characters and visual style, and high-quality artwork suitable for both digital and print publishing.
