About this gig

Most brands do not have a PR problem. They have a story problem. Before anyone pitches an editor, you need to know what your brand can credibly own in the press.

I am the founder of Cortazar Communications and I build PR strategy for consumer lifestyle, fashion, luxury, and hospitality brands. Client work has landed in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Harper's Bazaar, Forbes, WWD, Sports Illustrated, and JCK Online.

I start with a five-question narrative audit: the origin story nobody has told, the cultural conversation you belong in, the belief that separates you from competitors, the data you can own, and the collaborations available to you.

That becomes a narrative platform with two or three named campaigns, a messaging house with proof points, a media map ranked by tier and lead time, and an editorial calendar built around real deadlines. Long-lead print sits three to six months out, digital eight to twelve weeks, short-lead two to four weeks.

You end up with a plan you can run yourself, hand to an agency, or send back to me to execute.

I am the founder of Cortazar Communications, a boutique PR consultancy for consumer lifestyle, fashion, luxury hospitality, and fine jewelry brands. I build narrative platforms editors want to write about, then run the pitching, brand partnerships, and influencer and stylist programs that turn them into coverage across print, online, broadcast, podcasts, and social. I have placed client stories in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Harper's Bazaar, Forbes, WWD, Sports Illustrated, JCK Online, and Southern Living. PR Couture has recognized me as a leading voice in luxury PR.
