Will you guarantee a 90+ PageSpeed score?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Scores can be inflated with techniques that make the number look good and the site feel worse. I optimize for the field metrics Google uses for ranking and I report the real numbers before and after.
What is the difference between lab data and field data?
Lab data is a simulated test like PageSpeed Insights running on demand. Field data is Chrome User Experience Report data from real visitors, and it is what affects rankings. A site can score well in lab and still fail field data. I work on both and report both.
My site uses Elementor or Divi. Can it still pass?
Usually yes, though it takes more work. Page builders generate heavy CSS and JavaScript, and the fix is conditional loading so each template only loads what it needs. I build in Elementor myself, so I know where the weight hides. I will tell you honestly if the theme is the ceiling.
Do I need to change hosting?
Not necessarily. I optimize what exists first and measure the result. If your host is genuinely the limiting factor after that, I will tell you and explain what to look for, but I do not push hosting changes as a default answer.
What is INP and why does it matter?
Interaction to Next Paint measures how quickly your page responds when a visitor taps or clicks. It replaced First Input Delay and it is significantly stricter. Sites that passed the old metric routinely fail this one.
Will optimization break my site?
I take a full backup first and test on staging where available. Aggressive optimization can break things, which is why I implement changes incrementally and verify each one rather than switching on every setting at once.
How long before I see ranking improvements?
Field data updates on a rolling 28-day window, so Google needs roughly a month of real visitor data before the improvement is fully reflected. The speed improvement itself is immediate. The ranking effect follows.
Do you work on WooCommerce stores?
Yes, though stores are more complex because cart and checkout cannot be cached the same way as static pages. If your store is over 500 products or checkout is the main problem, choose Premium or message me first.
Can you fix the layout shift problem?
Yes. Cumulative Layout Shift is usually caused by images without dimensions, ads or embeds loading late, or fonts swapping after render. All three are fixable and included from the Full Optimization tier.
What if my scores drop again later?
Speed degrades as plugins are added and content grows. That is normal. I offer a monthly performance retainer that keeps the metrics monitored and corrected, but the one-time optimization stands on its own.
