FAQ
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading fixes spelling, grammar and punctuation. Editing also improves flow and word choice. I do both; tell me how far you want me to go.
Do you show what you changed?
Yes. Tracked changes in Word, or a short list of changes for other formats, so you can see and learn from every correction.
Can you proofread a translated text?
Yes, that is the most common job. I make sure it reads as if it was written in Dutch, not translated into it. PDF, Word, Google Docs and web pages are all fine.
Dutch from the Netherlands or from Belgium?
Dutch as used in the Netherlands, following the official spelling. Flemish (Belgium) on request.
Do you also write Dutch content?
Yes. I write Dutch SEO content (landing pages, blogs, product descriptions) and translate Dutch to English and English to Dutch. See my other gigs or send me a message.
