I primarily work with Excel, CSV and JSON files. I can also work with other structured or semi-structured data formats depending on the project. If you're unsure, send me a sample and I'll let you know.
Can you remove duplicate records?
Yes. I can identify duplicates using the entire row or specific columns you define, such as email address, customer ID, SKU or another unique identifier.
Can you combine multiple Excel or CSV files?
Yes. I can merge files, standardize their columns and produce a single clean dataset. If the files have different structures, please send samples so I can evaluate the work involved.
Can you fix inconsistent dates, names or other values?
Yes. I can standardize many types of inconsistent data, including dates, numbers, text, names, codes and other fields. The exact rules will depend on your data and desired result.
Can you automate a cleanup process I do repeatedly?
Yes. If your task follows repeatable rules, I can create a reusable Python script that processes future files the same way. Send me an example of the input and desired output and I can determine what's possible.
Can you work with very large files?
Often, yes. Larger files and complex datasets may require a custom quote. Please send the approximate file size, number of rows and what you need done before ordering.
