Fractional Marketing & Communications Director
Allison Park Church • Freelance
Dec 2024 - Present • 1 yr 9 mos
Allison Park Church is one of the largest multi-site churches in Pittsburgh, known for its creative production and deep community involvement. When several key team members left all at once, it created real gaps — in marketing direction, production support, and creative capacity across video, graphics, and branding. On top of that, there was no real advertising strategy behind their events, generic messaging that didn't speak to their actual audience, an outdated website and SEO, and twelve large-scale annual events that all required serious creative complexity. They needed to fill critical gaps fast, without losing momentum. I stepped in as their embedded Fractional Marketing & Communications Director, sitting directly inside their leadership team, backed by a full fractional creative team — a dedicated account executive, project manager, designers, a videographer, and a website developer. Together, we shot and edited all of their video content — trailers, bumpers, testimonials, sermons — designed every series and experiential graphics package, rebuilt their website with modern UI/UX and SEO best practices, and sharpened their brand messaging and advertising strategy to actually speak to the people they were trying to reach. The result is a unified marketing and communications effort that APC's leadership is thrilled with — every deliverable landed on time, with no drop in satisfaction, across all twelve major annual events. The church is growing quarter-over-quarter faster than at any point since before COVID, with record attendance in both weekly services and major annual events. Vision doesn't need more ideas. It needs leadership and a team that can execute at the pace the vision demands. That's exactly what a Fractional CMO — or in this case, a Fractional Marketing Director — is built to provide.
Fractional CMO
Sechler Law Firm • Freelance
Aug 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 1 mo
As the fractional CMO of Sechler Law Firm, my team and I have helped to double the annual revenue through strong vendor management, effective strategy, and meaningful data-reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing social media advertising, search advertising (both PPC and LSA), local SEO and AEO via website development, and RevOps (Revenue Operations) via LawMatics to ensure the CRM is showing proper attribution and ROAS per channel.

MediConnect Insurance • Freelance
May 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 4 mos
MediConnect came to me as the largest Medicare advisory firm across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia — a brand people already knew and trusted. Their challenge wasn't visibility. It was ownership. They had plenty of marketing activity: heavy investment in local TV and radio, multiple vendors, and several initiatives running in parallel. What they didn't have was anyone providing overall strategy and accountability. Their CRM couldn't track leads or automate follow-up. Their website and sales enablement materials needed a real overhaul. No one owned the whole picture, and growth had started to plateau under the weight of disconnected efforts. I stepped in as their Fractional CMO with a dedicated creative team behind me. My first responsibility wasn't creating ads — it was providing leadership. From there, I rebuilt their website with a focus on user experience, conversion, and local SEO. I implemented GoHighLevel as their sales and marketing CRM, building automations that improved lead conversion and reputation management. I developed a multi-six-figure digital advertising strategy across multiple channels, layering it on top of the traditional media that had already helped build their brand rather than replacing it. Alongside that, I built an ongoing content strategy spanning social media, podcasts, and newsletters to keep strengthening the brand they'd already earned. Today, MediConnect runs a predictable digital lead-generation system alongside their traditional marketing. The digital advertising program alone has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional revenue. Their CRM now gives full visibility into the customer journey while automating much of the manual follow-up. Most importantly, the company keeps growing — MediConnect has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Pittsburgh for multiple years running.
