Why does my Shopify store say sold out when I have stock?
Usually it’s a location, tracking or sync problem: wrong inventory location, negative stock, or an app overwriting counts. I check each cause, fix the real one and test it so the product sells again.
Which platforms can you sync with Shopify inventory?
POS systems, ERP, WMS, 3PL, Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, Google Sheets and supplier CSV, FTP or API feeds. If the other system has an API or a stock export, I can usually connect it to Shopify.
Can you stop overselling completely?
No honest seller can promise zero. I reduce it sharply with webhooks, retry logic, safety stock buffers and low stock alerts, then test the setup so sync delays are much less likely to oversell you.
What do you need from me to start?
Shopify collaborator access (never your password), a short description of the problem, and API or export access for the other system. I’ll confirm the exact list after you message me, before you order.
Do you use apps or custom code?
Whichever is simpler and safer for you. I use existing apps, Shopify Flow, n8n, Make or Zapier where they work, and custom Admin GraphQL API code only when needed, so you don’t pay for more than the fix requires.
Can you replace Stocky or move me to another inventory tool?
Yes. I move your stock data and workflows to a replacement such as Katana, Veeqo or a custom sync, check counts across every location, and give you a short walkthrough of the new process.
How fast can you finish before a big sale like Black Friday?
A single fix takes about 1 day, a one-channel sync 3 days and multi-channel up to 7. Order early, add the 24h rush extra if urgent, and message me your sale date first so I can confirm timing.
