Designed and developed smart wearable electronic devices by integrating embedded systems, flexible PCBs, and low-power microcontrollers. Created schematic designs and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer and KiCad, ensuring manufacturability and high reliability. Developed embedded firmware in C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M, STM32, and ESP32 platforms, enabling Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), sensor integration, and wireless communication. Integrated biometric sensors including heart rate, temperature, motion (IMU), and environmental sensors into wearable products. Performed hardware debugging, prototype validation, PCB testing, and firmware optimisation to improve product performance and battery life. Collaborated with industrial designers, fashion designers, and product engineers to create lightweight, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing wearable devices. Conducted Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and EMC-aware design reviews to support successful production. Produced technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, manufacturing files, and test reports while supporting prototype-to-production transitions.
