About this gig
Even simple lettering needs good spacing, line weight and sizing to work well as a tattoo.
Send me the exact text, intended size and body placement, plus your chosen font or a clear lettering reference. I will prepare clean, readable lettering and a digital stencil your tattooist can print and transfer.
For $5 you receive one name, date or short text of up to 20 characters including spaces, supplied as clean black linework, a high-resolution PNG and a print-size PDF at the agreed size. One minor revision to spacing, sizing or layout is included.
This gig uses an existing font or supplied lettering reference. It does not include original hand lettering, translation, illustrations or decorative elements. For more involved ideas, see my tattoo idea cleanup and stencil gig.
Please check all spelling, grammar, dates, numerals, capitalisation and punctuation before ordering. I reproduce the text you supply and cannot be responsible for errors approved by the buyer. Your tattooist must confirm the final size and placement before tattooing.

Hey, I’m Chris, the tattooist behind Tattoo Wingman. I bring around 20 years of studio experience and more than 30 years of collecting tattoos.
I regularly see good tattoo ideas buried inside rough sketches, reference collages and AI-generated images. Cleaning them up, improving the composition and making them work better on skin and over time is the part I genuinely enjoy.
I refine existing ideas into clearer, more tattooable concepts, regardless of subject or style. I´d love to hear what you have in mind!
FAQ
Will I receive a tattoo-ready stencil?
Yes. You receive clean digital linework at the agreed size. Your tattooist can print and transfer it, but must confirm the final fit and placement.
Will you send me a physical stencil?
No. You receive a high-resolution PNG and print-size PDF. No physical stencil or transfer paper will be mailed.
What counts toward the 20-character limit?
All letters, numbers, spaces and punctuation count. Please message me before ordering if your text is longer than 20 characters.
Can you create completely original hand lettering?
Not within this gig. I will use an existing font, one of the lettering styles shown in my gallery or a clear reference supplied by you.
Can you add roses, crosses or other decorative elements?

Who is responsible for checking the text?
The buyer must verify all spelling, grammar, dates, numerals, capitalisation and punctuation. I will reproduce the exact text supplied and approved.
