I am responsible for planning preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as providing technical follow‑up for the sugar conditioning and refining areas. My tasks include, in particular: Writing daily intervention reports Monitoring and managing spare parts (PDR) Receiving parts, checking them against technical drawings, and identifying needs Designing parts and modifications in SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D Participating in continuous improvement and the maintenance of industrial equipment 🎯 Objective: to contribute to the reliability of the facilities, the smoothness of operations, and the optimization of mechanical interventions.

Repair of pneumatic boats (or "inflatable boats")

T.A.P.C.N • Full-time

Jul 2023 - Sep 20241 yr 2 mos

Led fabrication and repair of inflatable tubes for Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) used in harbor mooring, oilfield support, and coastal patrol operations. Specialized in high-pressure tube confection (hypalon/neoprene/PVC) and precision jointing for 4-14m commercial vessels, ensuring 3-4 PSI airtight integrity across 2-5 independent chambers. Key Responsibilities & Processes : Tube Patterning & Cutting: Developed full-scale templates in Rhino 3D/SolidWorks from hull measurements; CNC-cut fabric panels (28-42 oz CSM/PVC) with 0.5mm precision, nesting for 90% material yield on 2m-wide rolls. Jointing & Seam Fabrication: Assembled complex 3D collars/transoms using hot air welding (Leister Triac ST, 600°C/50mm nozzle) or glue lamination; formed conical baffles/transverse bulkheads with internal lifting straps and overpressure valves (3 chambers min per ISO 6185). Confection & Shaping: Inflated green tubes on custom jigs to verify lofting (±5mm tolerance); heat-formed curves (e.g., bow buoyancy cones) via steam boxes or vacuum bags, achieving seamless toroids without folds. Hull Integration: Prepped aluminum/fiberglass transoms (blast/sand, 2K primer); bonded tubes with RFD glue strips (50mm wide), torqued inflation fittings (Brass Boston valves, 25-30 Nm), and load-tested at 150% design pressure. Technical Workflow (10m RIB Tube Replacement) Strip Down: Deflate/remove old tubes; ultrasonic scan hull for corrosion; degrease transom (MEK wipe). Patterning: Loft 6-8 panels (port/starboard tubes, cones, strakes) accounting for 10-15% fabric stretch. Assembly: Glue sequential seams (24-48h cure per joint); install 4 air chambers + manometer ports.

Design office engineer

ERENAV • Full-time

Feb 2023 - May 20233 mos

The full design and construction process for a 14-meter-long mooring boat (a utility workboat for harbor mooring operations, with reinforced hull for line handling, bollards, and moderate speed) follows standard naval architecture practices, scaled up from smaller tenders. Design Phase : Initial concept uses software like Maxsurf or Rhino for hull form (e.g., deep-V or displacement type, 14m LOA, 4m beam, 1.5m draft, aluminum or steel construction for durability). Parametric modeling optimizes stability, hydrostatics (displacement ~15-20 tons), and mooring loads (e.g., 10-year storm tensions via catenary analysis). Generate lines plan, offsets, and 3D model; perform FEA in ANSYS for structural scantlings (frame spacing 600mm, plating 6-10mm).
