Do I need to provide my own API key (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.)?
Yes. You'll need your own API key. I'll guide you through getting one. Gemini has a free tier if you want zero API costs.
Can I run this without paying for API costs (no OpenAI/Gemini)?
Yes. I can build it with a local LLM (Llama, Qwen, Phi) using llama.cpp, completely free, runs on your machine, zero API costs. Slightly slower than cloud LLMs but fully private. Message me before ordering if you want the local option.
Will my data be safe? Does it get sent to OpenAI or stored anywhere?
Only the relevant chunks of your document are sent to the LLM per query, not your full document. Nothing is stored on any server. Your data stays local.
What file types can you work with?
PDF, TXT, CSV, and website URLs. If you have a different format, message me first and I'll confirm if it's supported.
What if the chatbot gives a wrong answer?
The bot only answers from your provided content and shows source citations. If the answer isn't in your documents, it says so, it won't make things up.
Can this be added to my existing website?
The Standard and Premium packages include a Streamlit interface. Embedding directly into an existing website requires additional work. Message me to discuss before ordering.
Do I own the code after delivery?
Yes. Full source code is yours upon delivery, no strings attached.
