Which databases do you work with?
I work with MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL. If you use something else, message me before ordering and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
Do you need my server password?
I only need temporary, limited access (a database user or SSH access). Create a separate user for me, and you can delete it as soon as I deliver. I never need your hosting account login.
Will you change my application code?
No. I work on the database side: queries, indexes, structure, permissions, and settings. If the slowness comes from your app code, I'll point out where the problem is so your developer can fix it.
What do I need to send you before I start?
Send your database type and version, hosting details, the main problem you're facing, and (if possible) a list of your slowest queries or pages. The more detail, the faster I can work.
