I will upgrade your wordpress or woocommerce site to PHP 8

Your host tells you PHP 7.4 is out of support, or your shop already broke after the switch. Old plugins, an old theme, custom code: something in there does not speak PHP 8 yet.

What I do: I check the site on a copy first, find everything that breaks on PHP 8.x, and fix or replace it. Plugins get updated where an update exists; custom code gets patched. Then the switch on the live site, with a backup before and a check of checkout, payment and the admin area after. You get a written summary with every change and every plugin I had to replace or remove.

If the check on the copy shows the job is bigger than the package (many custom plugins, a very old theme), I send you the findings and a fixed price for the rest before I continue.

I have done this on a shop I run since 2017 and on a large PHP application that I helped move from PHP 7.3 to 8.1 while it stayed in production.
