I will build a custom desktop application for windows and mac
Youcef Lahreche
About this gig
Need a real desktop app for Windows or Mac? I build fast, polished desktop applications that can work offline and update themselves.
I'm a senior full-stack developer. My own latest desktop app is a finance and project tracker with browser-like tabs you drag between windows, a local database, charts, built-in terminals and automatic updates.
What you get:
- A clean, modern interface (Vue or React, Tailwind CSS)
- Electron and Node.js underneath: files, databases (SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL), APIs
- A Windows installer, and a macOS app when you need one
- Automatic updates, so your users always run the latest version
- Tray icon, notifications, keyboard shortcuts, several windows
- Clean TypeScript code, the full source and a short guide
Good fits: internal tools, dashboards, inventory or point-of-sale apps, file and data tools, or your web app turned into a desktop app.
Not sure which package fits? Message me your idea and I'll reply with a clear plan and price before you order.

FAQ
Which technologies do you use?
Electron with TypeScript, Vue or React for the interface, and SQLite, MySQL or PostgreSQL for data. If your project already uses something else, message me before ordering.
Can you turn my website or web app into a desktop app?
Yes, that's the Basic package. Send me the link or the code first so I can check it.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. The full source code is yours, with a short guide to build and run it.
Can the app update itself?
Yes, in Standard and Premium: your users get each new version automatically.
Will Windows or macOS warn that the app is from an unknown publisher?
Not once the app is signed. Signing needs your own code-signing certificate (Windows) or Apple developer account (Mac), and I set it up with yours.
What if something breaks after delivery?
I fix bugs in what I delivered for free for 14 days after delivery.
