I will fix or set up ga4 ecommerce and conversion tracking with GTM
About this Gig
Conversions firing twice. Google Ads reporting leads your CRM never received. GA4 revenue that doesn't match Shopify. Purchases missing on Safari.
Broken tracking means Smart Bidding optimizes on bad data, and you pay for it.
I'm a paid media manager who runs Google and Meta Ads, and a QA engineer. I build tracking the way an ad account needs it, then test it like software before I hand it over.
What you get:
- GTM installed or cleaned up, with clear naming and no leftover tags
- GA4 configured with the events and key events your business actually uses
- Google Ads conversions set up without double counting
- Full ecommerce tracking from view_item to purchase, with value and currency (Premium)
- Meta Pixel events and Consent Mode v2 (Premium or extras)
- Every tag tested in GTM Preview, Tag Assistant and GA4 DebugView with a real test conversion
- A Loom video walking you through the setup
Platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Webflow and custom sites.
Send me your website before ordering and I'll tell you which package fits.
FAQ
What access do you need?
Publish access in GTM, Editor in GA4, and Admin in Google Ads, plus CMS access if code changes are needed. You add my email as a user. I never need your passwords.
Can you fix my current setup instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. Start with the Audit package. I’ll show you what’s broken and tell you honestly whether a fix or a rebuild is cheaper.
Do I need GA4 conversions or the Google Ads conversion tag?
Usually both, wired so they don’t double count: the Google Ads tag for bidding, GA4 for analysis.
How will I know it works?
I run a test conversion and send screenshots from DebugView and Tag Assistant. Google Ads can take 24 to 48 hours to show the conversion as recording.
I don’t have GTM or GA4 yet. Is that a problem?
No. I’ll create them under your ownership so you keep full control.
Do I need Consent Mode v2?
If you advertise to visitors in the EU or UK, yes. Without it, Google Ads and GA4 lose data from users who decline cookies.
