Will my site go down during the migration?
I aim for minimal to zero downtime by setting up the new site fully before switching DNS — some DNS propagation delay (a few hours) is normal and outside my control.
Do you handle email during a host migration?
If your email is hosted separately (e.g. Google Workspace), it's usually unaffected. If email is hosted with your old provider, let me know — this needs separate handling.
Does changing domains affect my SEO?
Some ranking impact is normal with any domain change and can't be fully avoided, since external backlinks still point to the old domain. The Domain Change extra includes full URL redirects and Search Console re-verification to minimize the impact as much as possible.
What if my new host requires specific configuration?
I'll review your new host's requirements as part of the migration and flag anything unusual before starting.
Can you migrate a hacked or broken site?
I can migrate a broken site's content in most cases, but I'd recommend fixing critical issues first — message me to discuss your specific situation.
Do I need to buy new hosting before ordering?
