What counts as a compatibility fix?
A small code or configuration change needed because of the runtime upgrade. Examples include replacing a removed function or adjusting a deprecated API call. Major framework migrations, database redesigns and replacement of abandoned packages need a custom quote.
Will my website go offline during the upgrade?
A restart or brief maintenance window may be necessary. I review the deployment setup and agree on the timing with you. Premium includes staging before production deployment. I prepare a backup and rollback plan before making changes.
Can you upgrade an old PHP or Node.js application?
Yes, subject to reviewing its framework, dependencies and hosting support. Older applications may need substantial changes before they can run on a supported version. I will confirm whether the work fits Premium or needs a custom offer.
What access do you need?
Depending on your setup, I may need temporary hosting or SSH access, repository access, deployment instructions and a test account. Please provide access through a secure method agreed on Fiverr. A temporary account with only the permissions required is preferred.
Does this include malware removal or a full security audit?
The packages cover runtime updates and agreed compatibility work. Malware removal, incident recovery and a full security audit are outside their scope. Updating a runtime does not remove an existing compromise or guarantee that an application has no other vulnerabilities.
Can you complete an urgent PHP or Node.js upgrade?
Extra fast delivery is available for eligible Basic and Standard orders. Message me first with your deadline and hosting details so I can confirm availability. Delivery depends on receiving the required access and project information.
