I work on AI-assisted drafts requires careful human proofreading and editing before they are used.

My main job is to check whether the AI writing is saying more than the evidence can support. I look for shaky dates, vague source claims, overconfident wording, repeated AI-style phrasing, and factual details that need to be checked before publication.

You will receive an annotated Word document. I leave comments where a claim needs attention, add source notes when I check factual points, and suggest revised wording when a sentence should be made more accurate or less overstated.

My academic training is in history, archaeology, and East Asian Studies, including graduate work at Columbia University and the University of Oxford. I am most comfortable with nonfiction, history, politics, law, society, culture, media, and research-based writing.
