About me
Signal processing engineer with an MS in Electrical Engineering from NUST. My research has been published at EUSIPESCO and ICAI, with two abstracts accepted at ESC Congress 2026. I help researchers, engineers and product teams get reliable answers from messy real-world signals: spectral and time-frequency analysis, denoising, feature extraction and machine learning for audio, biomedical (ECG, PCG, PPG, EEG) and vibration data, in MATLAB or Python. • Developed 5-class phonocardiogram classification using 1D CNN with pitch-shifting augmentation, achieving 99.6% accuracy, 99.8% specificity, 99.2% sensitivity (published at EUSIPCO 2024 as first author) • Developing Copula-based Coupled Hidden Markov Models (Copula-CHMM) for simultaneous ECGPCG analysis to investigate dependency structures between electrical and mechanical cardiac activity • Contributing to 8-class pediatric heart disease classification using parallel multi-scale analysis (journal paper under compilation for IEEE JSTSP, November 2025) • Co-authored research grant proposal on simultaneous PCG-ECG signal analysis, submitted to Qatar University Office of Research Support (ORS) Internal Grants (September 2025)
