CareCloud CareCloud is a practice management software (like Dentrix/Eaglesoft) used for scheduling, patient records, billing, and insurance in medical/dental offices. If you say you work with it, it means you know how to use this system for daily office tasks. RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) RCM means handling the money side of patient care — from appointment to payment. Simple duties include: Patient Registration – Enter patient details, insurance info correctly (this is the start of RCM) Insurance Verification – Check if patient's insurance is active and what it covers before their visit Charge Entry – Enter the correct codes/fees for procedures done Claims Submission – Send claims to insurance companies for payment Payment Posting – Record payments received from insurance or patients Denial Management – If insurance rejects a claim, find out why and fix/resubmit it Patient Billing – Send bills to patients for their part (co-pay, deductible) Follow-up on Unpaid Claims – Call insurance companies if payment is delayed
