Need to move your application to a secure, low-cost Linux VPS?
I can migrate your app from cloud hosting, shared hosting, or another server and make sure it is running properly in its new environment.
The base package includes:
- Migration of one application to one Linux VPS
- Basic server and environment configuration
- Application files transfer
- Basic deployment setup
- Deployment testing after migration
Optional services available through Gig Extras or a custom offer include:
- Dockerizing an application that is not already containerized
- Docker and Docker Compose configuration
- Nginx reverse proxy setup
- Domain and DNS configuration
- SSL and HTTPS setup
- Database migration

- Advanced server configuration
The base package covers one application, one VPS, and one service migration.

What is included in the base package?
The Basic package covers migration of one application to one Linux VPS, including basic server configuration, file transfer, deployment setup, and testing.
Can you migrate Dockerized applications?
Yes. If your application is already Dockerized, I can migrate and deploy the existing Docker setup on the new VPS.
Can you configure Nginx, domain, and SSL?
Yes. Nginx reverse proxy, domain routing, and SSL/HTTPS configuration are available as an optional Gig Extra.
Can you migrate the database too?
Yes, depending on the database type, size, and application architecture. Please contact me before ordering if database migration is required.
What access will you need?
I may need access to the current hosting/server, the new VPS, application files or repository, and relevant configuration details. Please do not send sensitive credentials until they are required.
Can you migrate applications with multiple services?
Yes, but applications with multiple containers, databases, workers, or other services may require additional services or a custom offer.
Will my application experience downtime?
Some migrations may require brief downtime. If minimizing downtime is important, please contact me before ordering so I can review the infrastructure and migration approach.
