What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI apps like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor call your tools and read your data. An MCP server exposes your API, database or app as tools the AI can use safely.
Which AI clients will my MCP server work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code Copilot, ChatGPT connectors and custom AI agents built with the Claude or OpenAI Agents SDK.
Local or remote server?
Basic and Standard are usually local (stdio) servers. Premium includes a remote HTTP server with OAuth or API key auth, deployed with Docker to your cloud or VPS.
What do you need from me?
API docs or database details, test credentials for a sandbox account, and a short list of the actions you want the AI to perform. I never need production passwords.
Which language do you use?
TypeScript with the official MCP SDK by default. Python is also available on request.
Can you add tools to an existing MCP server?
