I will audit and fix react or next js accessibility issues

About this gig
Is your React or Next.js website difficult to use with a keyboard, screen reader, or low-vision settings?
I will audit and improve the accessibility of your custom frontend using WCAG 2.2 guidance and source-code fixesnot an overlay widget. I work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component-based interfaces.
- Depending on your package, you can receive:
- Automated testing with axe/Lighthouse
- Manual keyboard and focus checks
- Semantic HTML and heading fixes
- Form labels, errors, and accessible names
- ARIA review and correction
- Color-contrast and focus-state improvements
- Modal, menu, tab, and dialog remediation
- Responsive accessibility checks
- A prioritized findings report
- Before-and-after verification
This is a technical accessibility service, not legal advice or certification. Automated tools cannot detect every issue, and no freelancer can responsibly guarantee legal compliance from a limited audit alone.
Please message me before ordering so I can review your URL or repository, page count, framework, existing audit, and required scope.

FAQ
What accessibility standard do you use?
I use WCAG 2.2 as the primary technical reference and normally evaluate relevant Level A and AA criteria within the agreed scope. A Gig delivery is not a legal certification or universal declaration of conformance.
What is the difference between an audit and remediation?
An audit identifies barriers, explains their impact and prioritizes recommended changes. Remediation means modifying the React or Next.js source code to resolve the agreed issues and retesting the affected scope.
Does this guarantee ADA or European Accessibility Act compliance?
No. I provide technical accessibility testing and implementation, not legal advice. Legal applicability depends on the organization, jurisdiction, service, content, processes and other factors outside a limited frontend engagement.
Do you only run Lighthouse or another automated scanner?
No. Automated testing is combined with manual keyboard, focus, interaction and structure checks. Automated tools are useful but cannot find every accessibility failure.
Which technologies do you support?
I work primarily with React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Tailwind CSS. Existing component libraries can be reviewed after I inspect the project.
What counts as one page or screen?
One page or screen is one unique layout or application state. Multiple URLs generated from the same unchanged template normally count as one template. Significantly different states or workflows may count separately.
Can you fix issues from an existing accessibility report?
Yes. Upload the current report and identify the pages or components to be fixed. I will review the findings before confirming that they fit a standard package.
Do you install accessibility overlay widgets?
This Gig focuses on source-code remediation rather than treating an overlay as a substitute for accessible implementation. Third-party tools can be reviewed when they are already part of the buyer’s system.
Will the fixes change the design?
Most changes can preserve the visual direction, but visible focus indicators, contrast adjustments, error messages, target sizes and labels may require controlled UI changes. Material design changes are discussed before implementation.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers corrections to work within the original pages, components, findings and requirements. New screens, changed designs, newly introduced features, unrelated bugs or added audit criteria require an extra or custom offer.
