1. What do I need to provide to start the project?
Answer: To ensure the highest accuracy, please provide a hand-drawn sketch with basic dimensions, an existing PDF, or a photo of the space with clear measurements. The more data you provide, the higher the LOD (Level of Development) I can achieve in the final ArchiCAD model.
2. Can I get the source files to use in AutoCAD?
Answer: Yes. While I work natively in ArchiCAD to maintain BIM logic, I can provide the source files in .pln (ArchiCAD) or export them to high-quality .dwg (AutoCAD) or .ifc formats. This ensures your local contractors or architects can open and edit the files without issue.
3. Do you provide signed or stamped drawings for building permits?
No. I provide technical drafting for conceptual and presentation use only. My drawings do not include an architect's stamp. All plans must be reviewed and certified by a locally licensed professional in your jurisdiction before being used for permits.
4. What if my project is larger than 3,200 sq. ft. (300 sq. m.)?
Answer: I handle projects of all scales, including complex commercial and industrial structures. If your project exceeds the limits of the Premium package, please message me directly. I will provide a Custom Offer based on your specific square footage and required level of detail.
