Hungry customers are impatient. I adopted a "Mobile-First" design philosophy. The menu is accessible within one click, and the reservation button is "sticky" at the bottom of the screen. This reduces bounce rates and capitalizes on impulse dining decisions. The site integrates a direct reservation loop to reduce dependency on third-party apps that charge fees. By highlighting high-margin items on the digital menu using visual cues, we subtly influence the average order value per table. This project demonstrates Wix's ability to handle high-traffic hospitality needs. We integrated a third-party widget (ResDiary) but styled it to look native to Wix. This provides the robust backend of a dedicated reservation platform with the visual freedom of Wix. Designed for the Fast-Paced Hospitality Sector. This framework works perfectly for Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Event Venues, and Food Trucks requiring live menu updates and instant table booking capabilities. The infrastructure is ready for "Wix Restaurants" online ordering. As the business grows, we can toggle on "Pickup" and "Delivery" options instantly. The site is also prepped for an Event Calendar integration for holiday specials and private parties. Customized Wix Menus app for easy daily updates. Embedded HTML/iFrame widgets for the reservation system. Optimized Lightboxes for promotional pop-ups (e.g., "Happy Hour") to capture attention without blocking navigation.
