I will translate and localize your content into native chinese
Brand naming and Chinese localization, words that travel well
About this Gig
Machine translation will happily translate your app word for word and leave it sounding like a manual for a washing machine. Chinese users can tell in three seconds: stiff, translated-sounding Chinese gets skipped.
I translate like a localizer, not a dictionary. I'm a native Chinese speaker who localizes market-entry content for foreign brands:
* NOT MACHINE TRANSLATION every sentence is written by hand. If it sounds translated, it gets rewritten until it doesn't.
* UNITS & FORMATS CONVERTED measurements, dates, currencies, formats, all adapted to Chinese conventions.
* CULTURE, ADAPTED jokes, idioms and references that don't land in China are replaced with ones that carry the same feeling.
* MARKETING COPY TRANSCREATED headlines and CTAs rewritten to persuade, within real platform character limits.
* SENSITIVE WORDS SCREENED absolute claims that break Chinese ad rules are flagged before they cost you a takedown.
What I localize: apps and SaaS, websites, Amazon/Shopify stores, manuals, packaging, help centers, email flows, campaigns.
Send me your files; within days your content reads like it was written in China. Questions? Message me I reply in writing, in detail.

FAQ
How is this different from machine translation (DeepL / Google Translate) or AI tools?
MT gives you sentences that still read as translated: literal idioms, English rhythm, zero persuasive power. I rewrite for a native reader: natural word choice, Chinese rhythm, converted units and formats, references that land. If a line feels foreign to a Chinese reader, I fix it.
Do you use AI tools in your process?
I may use tools for terminology lookup and consistency checks, but the translation itself is written and reviewed by me, a native speaker, and I'm responsible for every line. You'll never receive raw or lightly-edited machine output.
Is my content kept confidential?
Yes. Your files are used only for your order, never shared, published, or reused as samples without your written permission. NDA available on request for Standard and Premium orders.
What file formats can you deliver?
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plain text, Markdown, HTML, .strings (iOS), .xml (Android), .json, XLIFF and SRT subtitles. For design files (Figma, PSD), send an exported text sheet and I'll return the strings mapped to your keys/IDs so your team can paste them straight back.
How do you count words, and what if my text is longer than the package?
Word count is the English source text. If you're over the package limit, message me before ordering — I'll quote the exact top-up so there are no surprises, or split the job into stages.
Simplified or Traditional Chinese?
This gig is Simplified Chinese (mainland China). If you need Traditional (Taiwan / Hong Kong), message me first — conventions differ well beyond character sets, and I'll confirm scope before you order.
Can you also check content we already translated?
Yes — order the package matching your word count and tell me it's a review job. I'll rewrite what reads as translated, fix terminology consistency, and flag risky claims, with brief notes on the major changes.
