About this Gig

I program survey questionnaires in XLSForm for KoboToolbox, ODK and SurveyCTO - mobile data collection forms built for offline fieldwork, not for a demo.

Send me your questionnaire in Word, Excel, PDF or Google Docs and I will return a tested XLSForm, deployed and ready for your enumerators.

WHAT YOU GET

Full skip logic and relevance conditions, however deep they nest.

Constraints and validation, so enumerators cannot enter impossible values.

Calculated fields, scoring, rosters and repeat groups.

Cascading selects for district and union style hierarchies.

GPS, photo, signature and barcode capture where you need it.

Multi-language forms, including Bangla and any script you send.

Preloaded data and case tracking for panel or tracer studies.

A tested form, plus a note explaining how it works so you can edit it later.

PLATFORMS

KoboToolbox, ODK Central and ODK Collect, SurveyCTO, and Google Forms for simpler jobs.

I do this every day as a data analyst at a survey research firm, on multi-round household and tracer studies. I know where survey forms break in the field, because I have had to fix them mid-round.

Message me your questionnaire and I will tell you what it will take.
