FAQ
What is the difference between proofreading and copy editing?
Proofreading is the final sweep over your writing to make sure that small writing mistakes like misspellings, grammar errors, and incorrect punctuation are fixed. Copy editing goes deeper by swapping out confusing word choices for clearer ones and enhancing sentence structure, flow, and clarity.
Do you edit directly on websites?
No. I only edit using Microsoft Word, which allows me to track the changes I make for clients. Before placing an order, please have your content copied and pasted into a Microsoft Word document and send it to me in the chat so that we can discuss pricing, availability, and the turnaround time.
Can you edit other types of writing than listed?
Please reach out by message to enquire about other types of editing services I can provide. Happy to provide a custom offer if it works out.
What experience do you have as an Editor / Proofreader?
For the past 4 years, I worked for a startup company where I ended up wearing many hats. One of those hats included editing anything from website content to email campaigns, to blog posts, and most things in between.
