What type of file should I submit?
Please send your text as a Microsoft Word Document. I use Microsoft Word Track Changes so you can see the edits I have suggested. If your document is any other type, please convert it to Microsoft Word before sending.
Do you use any software for editing?
No, I do not use any software. I review each and every sentence, word by word, and make the changes manually.
What does a copyeditor do?
A copyeditor picks apart your entire document at the sentence level to look for errors like typos, inconsistencies, or confusing sentence structures that affect readability. This is besides correcting your grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, hyphenation, etc.
Can you edit British as well as American English?
Yes, I can line edit, copyedit and proofread both as I am well versed with the variations in grammar, spelling, usage and punctuation.
Do you edit Personal Statements?
I proofread and edit personal statements, statement of purpose or college admission essays for grammar only. I do not make changes or rewrite personal statements.
Do your services include formatting?
My service does not include rewriting, formatting, developmental editing, referencing or plagiarism checks.
