Proofreading by a native English speaker
I'm a native English speaker with a BA in English Language and Literature as well as over two decades of experience as an editor and writer in the public and private sectors. I'm also a published author.
When I proofread your work, I'll focus on:
- Spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Typographical errors (typos)
- Missing, repeated or incorrect words
- Basic fact-checking
- Formatting such as page numbering
- Verifying any links
- Double-checking any citations
Proofreading is the final step before publication and as such doesn't include editing for style or structure or making any rewrites. I'll use tracked changes so you can easily undo any revisions you don't agree with.
