I will deploy your script or app on a linux vps with cron systemd and backups

You have a finished script or app and need it running on a server without babysitting it. I set it up the way it is done on production servers and hand it back with notes.

What I do

Prepare the VPS. Install the runtime such as Python Node or Docker. Put secrets in an env file that only the service user can read. Run it on a schedule with cron or a systemd timer or keep it running as a service with automatic restart. Run the first execution with you and confirm the output. For web apps add a reverse proxy with HTTPS.

What you receive

The running service. A one page note with the host layout the schedule the env file location how to rotate a key and how to see the logs. Every command written down so your team can repeat it.
