Hi, I'm Brooke! My goal is to create a friendly and professional atmosphere with each and every client, holding a space for passionate authors without compromising honest, constructive improvements.
I have plenty of experience working with published creatives under romance, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, thriller, horror, tragedies, young adult, gothic fiction & western fiction. If your novel falls within (or near) these genres, I'm happy to have a look.
Please note: line editing is an in-depth, finalizing draft beyond basic proofreading and does not include developmental editing, sensitivity reading, or beta reading. If you're unsure which type of work you need, feel free to reach out before booking!
Quality is my promise. I regularly average 15-35 edits per page depending on content. If you'd like your novel to be seamless & keep readers hooked, a comprehensive editing approach is an absolute must.

What are you experienced in?
I have work experience with most genres (especially fiction) and have proudly helped many self-published authors ready their manuscript for distribution.
Do you use AI (Artificial Intelligence) in your orders?
No. As an editor I am vehemently against the use of AI in my editing services, even in my personal writing projects.
What is the purpose of line editing?
After so long working on your project, you will need a fresh set of eyes to help refine easily-missed details, suggest changes, rework paragraphs, and assess tone, prose, dialogue and description without compromising your unique style & voice.
How do I get a beta reading from you?
I don't offer beta reading as a distinct service. However, as a package add-on (price negotiable), I can write a one-page PDF review about your story and answer 3 questions of your choice.
